Activities

SIMECO has carried out the detail design of several fertilizer plants, mostly based on proprietary Urea technology licensed by Saipem/Snamprogetti.

SIMECO has developed a significant experience in the detail design of polymer plants, e.g. Polyethylene (LDPE, HDPE), bioplastics.

Activities

Simeco offers integrated solutions for Upstream facilities, including gathering systems (i.e. flowline, trunkline), EOR (water injection systems, CO2 injection systems) and processing facilities (i.e. GOSP, Degassing Stations,….).

Activities

Simeco activities in the midstream sector cover pipeline and storage facilities. The design services carried out by SIMECO with the support of the affiliate Streamline Engineering Srl span all the expertise from pipeline flow assurance up to site services.

Activities

Simeco’s experience covers Gas Oil Separation Plants, Degassing Stations, Natural Gas Processing (Dehydration Packages, Acid Gas Removal), LPG treating.

Activities

Simeco has carried out several offshore projects providing Clients with both the platform’s structural design and the topside processing and auxiliary facilities.

Simeco has been recently involved in the design of marine terminals including berth moorings, jetties/piers as well selection and installation of loading arms.

Activities

During the recent years has developed several projects dealing with power plants and use of renewable energies.

Experience in renewable energies cover biomass, waste to energy and solar power.

Activities

Activities carried out by SIMECO include electrical network study (load flow, transient stability, short circuit current, motor starting, etc.); design of electrical substations (H.V./M.V.); development of general one line diagram; relay and metering diagram; preparation of technical specifications, selection and follow-up of:

  • H.V. Gas Insulated and Air Insulated Switchboards
  • M.V./L.V. Switchboards (Power Center, Motor Control Center, Auxiliary Service   Panel, UPS panel, D.C. Panel, Lighting panel, etc.)
  • Electrical Equipment (Transformers, Variable Speed Drivers, Bus Ducts, etc.)

Activities

SIMECO engineering capabilities cover from feasibility study to detail design of control systems and control rooms.

Typical desgin activities are: control room layout, technical room layout, functional specification of DCS, implementation and detailed specification of DCS, functional specification of ESD/PLC, implementation and detailed specification of ESD/PLC, functional specification of SIS, implementation and detailed specification of SIS, control narrative, AND-OR Logic diagram, cause-effect matrix, control system’s database and loop diagram/wiring.
